The Twisting Force Shrinking Hammer shrinks the material through a twisting motion on impact.
The face with the spiral lines is 42mm / 1.65″ in diameter.
The smooth face is 31.5mm / 1.2″ in diameter.
For material thicknesses of 0.2 – 1.0mm / 0.0078 – 0.039″
The Twisting Force Shrinking and Bumping Hammer with its spiral lines twists slightly, when it strikes the metal.
This special hammer is able to shrink “overstretched” or deformed sheet metal, so that oil canning and waves can simply be “ironed out”. The spiral lines combined with the twisting, pulls the structure of the metal together.
The opposite face of the hammer is a smooth face finishing hammer.
